National Festival 2019

Once again, I prayed for rain and wasn’t disappointed, I mean it is mid-August. We had 28 cars booked it but sadly only 19 appeared, there was a few brake downs, not sure what happened to the others. But more importantly the ones and people that did turn up enjoyed the day. Everyone selling 02 parts (especially Mr Jones) did incredibly well and of course 02ers found those spare parts they needed. I had specially ordered 02 cup cakes made to celebrate 30 years of the 02 Register, and I think most people got one, glad you all enjoyed them, they did run out of course. Good to see some old 02 friends present including James Child, Paul Hill and Russell Crawford.

A thank you to Pat Tremain and new member Steve Clarke for all his help and valuable first aid training that was called upon for one member of the public.
