My name is Thanawich Taranapakorn or Boss this car was built by me and my dad with full of memory, One day I drove into a gas station with no idea what to expect but there was a gang full of BMW 2002s and 1600s, at the time I didn’t know what car are those I know it a BMW but don’t know what model is it, but the beauty of them stand out more than other classics cars I seen, but I eventually forgotten.
Until one day I was searching through trying to buy a BMW e28 when I stumbled across a 72 BMW 2002 rolling shell, I was stuned at a point all the memory came flying back to me all the 2002s I saw at the gas station,
but that one didn’t last long I was new to restoring cars and I got no idea what I was into, so I gave up on that project, and some kind gentlemen offer me a 68 BMW 1602 that was fully rebuilt,
I drove that one for 3 years with no problem what so ever, but something was off that wasn’t me,
I always dream of a BMW 2002 turbo look and the 1602 won’t serve , so I sold it and start building this one “Rattikarn” which mean nightfall in English, this car was project started about 2 year ago,
this car has got a E21 1.8 liters M10 with a full injection kit and a ITB kit which control by a standalone ECU with a 5-speed manual from a E21 with the diff also,
interior custom seat made to alike the turbo seat with the turbo steering wheel , front turn signal ,taillight is an Italian spec which import from Italy,
fully restored suspension and adjustable coil lowers with full underbody struts bar , all of it on BBS wheels.
