These figures are the best averages I can find, there are loads of original road tests on the various models and there seems to be quiet a bit of difference. Also it’s varied between European and U.S. cars.

“No MOT” not legal for UK roads, either requiring full restoration or parts car.
“Condition C”: Cars with current MOT’s, everything works but will need quiet a bit of work to make sure it’s on the road again next year. Not bargains you think they are. Beware!
“Condition B”: Look good & run well, needing properly cosmetics to make condition A, if neglected will end up condition C fairly quickly, so look after them. Again will need money throwing at them to improve.
“Condition A”: Excellent show cars very reliable, needing minor annual maintenance, everything works correctly & enjoyed to the full. Service history & original features always help. Cars in original unmodified condition always worth more than heavily modified or un-original cars.
“Concours”: These are exceptional cars either unique mint low mileage finds in perfect condition or newly nut & bolt restorations, costing over twice this to build. The very best of each model, & properly many awards from car club events to back this up. Fraction of the cost to actually build a concours car, so not that expensive when you work it out.
Note: 1600-2’s are early more collectable than the popular 2002’s hence slight worth more for an exceptional car.

NB: The above is a guide only, the BMW CAR CLUB can not be held responsible for market fluctuations. It can be seen that values have dropped in general for most models with a few exceptions.
* These values have not been changed as there is little information on current values in the UK.
